Deadlines Extended for GCSC’s Emergency Medical Services Program and Law Enforcement Academy in Support of WestRock Employees

The GCSC Public Safety Division has extended its application deadline for the EMS Program and Law Enforcement Academy summer classes in support of WestRock employees.

“We want to help those who are finding themselves in a position of uncertainty at the news of the WestRock closure,” said Bruce Harber, Public Safety Division Chair. “By extending our programs’ application deadlines, we are giving these individuals an opportunity to pursue Law Enforcement or EMT careers.”

The deadline to apply for both programs has been extended to Tuesday, May 3. Individuals interested in pursuing formal training as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or a Law Enforcement Officer are encouraged to apply.

The corresponding program coordinator for each program are as follows:

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
