On March 5, 2025, Dr. Dunn expressed gratitude towards the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) for their support of the REPAIR Act. He emphasized that "American consumers deserve full control over their vehicle repair and maintenance data to ensure they can find the best service for their vehicle at a reasonable price!"
Later that day, Dr. Dunn criticized the Biden Administration's handling of broadband deployment under the BEAD Program. He noted that despite an expenditure of over $42 billion, "not a single inch of new fiber has been laid." On March 6, 2025, Dr. Dunn announced an agreement between FEMA and Panama City for a significant road improvement plan. According to him, "Panama City will receive $10 million to repair or completely rebuild the approved roadways across the city that were damaged by Hurricane Michael."
