Neal Dunn introduces bill requiring coverage for prostate cancer screenings

Dr. Neal Dunn, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida's 2nd district, shared updates on recent legislative and collaborative efforts through his social media posts on February 13, 2025. Dr. Dunn, who has been serving in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Gwen Graham, highlighted new initiatives and expressed enthusiasm for future collaborations.

On February 13, Dr. Dunn announced the introduction of the PSA Screening for HIM Act via social media. He stated: "NEW BILL ALERT Today, I introduced the PSA Screening for HIM Act to require health insurance companies to cover preventative prostate cancer screenings." The Congressman noted bipartisan support from fellow representatives Greg Murphy, Yvette Clarke, and Troy Carter.

Later that day, Dr. Dunn congratulated Robert Kennedy Jr. on his appointment as Secretary of Health and Human Services: "Congrats to our new @HHSGov Secretary @RobertKennedyJr! Looking forward to working with you in my capacity as Vice Chair of the @HouseCommerce Subcommittee on Health." He emphasized his commitment to improving public health through his role in the House Commerce Subcommittee on Health.

In another post made on February 13, Dr. Dunn expressed excitement about collaborating with Representative Luz Rivas: "Excited to work with you @RepLuzRivas! Together, we will prepare American students for a future that will rely heavily on a STEM-educated workforce." This reflects his focus on education policy aimed at strengthening STEM fields in America.
