Gulf Coast State College’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program is opening its EMT and Paramedic Skills Test to EMS personnel in the community seeking to meet National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) requirements.
The skills testing will meet the requirements set forth by the NREMT for participants to gain certification at the national level. This testing is a strictly hands-on skill testing and does not include the written test. Individuals wishing to participate must have completed an approved EMT program before the EMT Skills Test or Paramedic program before the Paramedic Skills Test. Candidates who complete the psychomotor test will receive validation of their successful completion through NREMT.
- EMT Skills Test: May 3, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; $95 tuition
- Paramedic Skills Test: July 30, 2022 from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.; $250 tuition
- Both tests will be held in the Abbott Building at the GCSC North Bay Campus
