According to the U.S. Department of Education, Gulf Coast State College in Panama City, Florida, allocated $411,352 to women’s basketball teams in 2024, which is $536,424 below the state average of $947,776.
Men’s basketball teams from Bay County received $483,986 during the 2024 season, up 16.9% from the previous year.
Women’s basketball teams from Bay County received $411,352 during the 2024 season, down 3.4% from the previous year.
