Dr. Neal Dunn, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 2nd district, shared several updates on social media highlighting achievements and engagements with notable individuals and discussions with international leaders.
On June 16, Dr. Dunn extended his congratulations to Duncan Rivard of Bay County for securing third place in the Incubate Debate National Championship. In his post, he stated: “Big congrats to Duncan Rivard of Bay County for placing third in the @IncubateDebate National Championship! Duncan is making the entire Bay County community proud with his impressive victory and masterful debate performance. Congratulations!”
The following day, June 17, Dr. Dunn shared details of a conversation he had with Wyatt Spears, an upcoming cadet at West Point Military Academy. He expressed confidence in Wyatt’s future contributions to Florida’s 2nd District by saying: “I had a wonderful conversation with Wyatt Spears, a future @WestPoint_USMA cadet, and his family as he prepares to start his military service later this year. Wyatt, I am confident that you will continue to make FL-02 proud!”
On June 18, Dr. Dunn reported on a meeting held with Bavarian State Minister Dr. Florian Herrmann to discuss economic and security cooperation between the United States and Germany. Emphasizing the importance of strong alliances, he noted: “Recently, I met with Bavarian State Minister Dr. Florian Herrmann to discuss economic and security cooperation between the U.S. and Germany. Now more than ever, we must have a strong dialogue with our strategic allies.”
Neal Dunn has been serving in Congress since 2017 after succeeding Gwen Graham and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives.
