On March 21, 2025, Dr. Dunn tweeted about a meeting with Panama City Beach government officials. He stated: "Recently, I met with @cityofpcbfl government officials, including Mayor Tettemer and @PCBeachPolice Chief Talamantez, to discuss important topics facing the community, such as affordable housing, infrastructure, and community safety during spring break. Thanks for having me!"
The following day on March 22, Dr. Dunn expressed enthusiasm about engaging with students interested in military service academies: "Having a great time today meeting Florida students who are interested in attending one of our nation’s outstanding service academies! Thank you to everyone for attending my Academy Day!"
