Dr. Neal Dunn, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 2nd district since 2017, recently shared several statements on social media regarding his legislative efforts and political stance. These statements cover topics ranging from regulatory measures to public health policies.

On January 28, 2025, Dr. Dunn addressed concerns over government regulations, stating that "For far too long government bureaucrats have quietly passed unnecessary and burdensome regulations that raise the cost of basic necessities like groceries." He announced the introduction of H.J.Res. 30, a resolution aimed at nullifying what he describes as onerous regulations on refrigerators nationwide.

Later the same day, Dr. Dunn expressed gratitude towards former President Donald Trump for implementing provisions in his bill, the TROOP Act. He acknowledged Trump's efforts by saying "Thank you, President @realDonaldTrump, for keeping your promise to our servicemembers by implementing provisions in my bill, the TROOP Act." This legislation includes reinstating soldiers who were discharged for refusing COVID-19 vaccinations.

On January 29, 2025, Dr. Dunn highlighted his role as Vice Chair of the Health Subcommittee of House Commerce and expressed his readiness to collaborate with President Trump on public health matters. He stated "As Vice Chair of the Health Subcommittee of @HouseCommerce, I stand ready to work with President Trump on returning to an effective public health policy."
