Dr. Neal Dunn, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 2nd district, recently addressed a variety of issues through a series of tweets on December 4, 2024. His posts ranged from weather advisories to international trade and public health concerns.

On December 4, 2024, Dr. Dunn issued a weather advisory concerning Northwest Florida. He warned that "Temperatures tomorrow may drop well below freezing in Northwest Florida." He urged residents to take precautions to protect their families and property and emphasized the importance of staying warm.

Later that day, at 15:19 UTC, Dr. Dunn turned his attention to international trade practices involving China. He claimed that "China has used every dirty trick in the book to circumvent tariffs on solar panels." He called for enforcement by Customs and Border Protection (CPB) to prevent Chinese-manufactured panels from affecting U.S. energy independence.

At 16:40 UTC on the same day, Dr. Dunn expressed serious concerns regarding gain-of-function research related to American technology used in China. He described the situation as "criminal negligence pure and simple," criticizing public health officials for denying any connection between the United States and China in such research.
