2021 has 4.1% of Gulf County residents unemployed

Gulf County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.1% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 228 people out of the 15,205 living in Gulf County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Gulf County has decreased compared to the 4.6% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Gulf County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 5,286 people who had a job during that time, 5 were employed in the Armed Forces and 5,281 belonged to the civilian labor force.
