Franklin County School District had a decrease in student enrollment during the 2022-23 school year, according to the Florida Department of Education. Overall, there was a total of 1,208 students enrolled in the district in the academic year.

Data reveals that the majority of students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year were white, representing 71.4% of the Franklin County School District total enrollment.

Additionally, the largest portion of students in the district are enrolled in elementary school grades, making up 44% of the total enrollment.

Franklin County School District covers five schools within Franklin County, with its main office in Eastpoint.

Among the five schools in Franklin County School District, Franklin County School recorded the highest enrollment of 785 students in the 2022-23 school year.

In 2022, Florida had more than 2.8 million students enrolled in a total of 4,202 schools. There were 163,558 teachers in the public schools, or roughly one teacher for every 17 students, compared to the national average of 1:16.
