Gulf Coast State College Welcomes New Visual and Performing Arts Division Chair

Gulf Coast State College is proud to announce its new Visual and Performing Arts Division Chair, Dr. Jennifer McAtee.

McAtee comes to GCSC from Dallas, Texas, where she served as the Music Department Coordinator at El Centro College for six years. Her personal and professional background are centered around the art of music, including owning her own private music lesson business, teaching as an adjunct professor at Ozarks Technical Community College (OTC) in Missouri, and establishing and growing OTC’s first music department.

“I am excited to join Gulf Coast State College as the Chair of the Visual and Performing Arts Division,” said Dr. McAtee. “It has always been a dream of mine to live near the beach while continuing to do what I love, educating and advocating for the arts and education.”

The GCSC Visual and Performing Arts Division is located on the Panama City Campus and offers certificates, Associate of Arts degrees in art, music, and theatre, and an Associate of Science degree in Entertainment Technology.
