Gulf Coast State College and PanCare Health are set to host the grand opening of the new healthcare clinic at GCSC in the Rosenwald Building on Thursday, May 26 at 10:00 a.m.
GCSC and PanCare have partnered together to bring an affordable healthcare solution to the GCSC campus for students, staff, and the surrounding community by opening a clinic on the GCSC Panama City campus.
“Our partnership with PanCare will have a positive impact on the GCSC campus and community,” said Dr. Holdnak, President of Gulf Coast State College. “The clinic will provide our students and staff a source where they can receive healthcare services right here on campus, which has previously been a barrier for many. It will also provide an opportunity for our health sciences students to conduct clinical rotations and training; a win-win for us and the community.”
During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, PanCare provided testing and vaccinations services for various groups at an on-campus site. The success of this effort led to the development of a partnership between GCSC and PanCare. The new clinic is in a 3,100 square-foot fully equipped medical clinic, with seven examination rooms.
The community is invited to attend the grand opening. For more information, please contact Ashley Kelley at (850) 747-5599.
