PANAMA CITY, Fla. – The Bay County Chamber is pleased to announce the 22nd graduating class of Junior Leadership Bay. A reception will be held to honor the participants at FSU Panama City on April 18 at 5:30 p.m.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, one graduate will be presented with a scholarship to attend Gulf Coast State College and Florida State University – Panama City Campus.

Junior Leadership Bay is an eight-month program designed to prepare, develop and enhance high school juniors for future roles in community leadership at an early point in life.

Each year, the Junior Bay Class is responsible for developing and executing a class project. This year’s class has been working alongside Bay District Schools to promote job fairs that will take place at three local high schools in May. The class has been working to create content to promote the events by creating flyers, interviewing local businesses in the community and filming videos of those interviews. The materials the class have created will be distributed among their schools, social media and the community to market the event.
