Gulf Coast State College and the St. Andrew Bay Watch Citizen Science Lecture Series will be hosting Lauren Albrittain, Stranding Coordinator with Gulf World Marine Institute Inc., for a presentation on Tuesday, April 19 at 12:30 pm on the 3rd floor of the Advanced Technology Center (ATC 303). A Zoom option is available.
Lauren will present on the mission, background, and work done by Gulf World Marine Institute as well as the local sea turtle and marine mammal stranding response and rescue organization. The types of species and cases that Gulf World works with will be discussed as well.
