City of Panama City Beach: Bay Real-Time Operations Center helps solve crime

1

City of Panama City Beach issued the following announcement on April 5.

FROM THE BAY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE

Area law enforcement are working together to keep Bay County residents safe through the BAYROC (Bay Real-Time Operations Center) housed at the Bay County Sheriff's Office.

This is a county-wide project that uses live camera footage to help solve crime in partnership with the Sheriff's Office, Panama City Beach Police, Panama City Police, Parker Police, Lynn Haven Police and Springfield Police.

The program allows property owners to share their security camera video with law enforcement. Residents and businesses can register their cameras here: https://baycounty.fususregistry.com/. Once your camera is registered, law enforcement will reach out if a crime occurs in your area. Law enforcement will only ask for relevant security footage.
