U09

Bay County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on January 3.

On Thursday, February 17, 2022, the City of Lynn Haven will host its third Community Health Fair at the Lynn Haven Senior Activity Club at 905 Pennsylvania Avenue from 9 AM to 1 PM.

The Community Health Fair is a free community event designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, preventative care, manage diseases, and make connections to health resources. Like last year, the Health Fair is free to both participant and approved vendors. Dozens of healthcare vendors and including vision, pharmacy, health insurance, fitness and wellness will be on hand. The vendors will be displaying their services and distributing information to all that attend.

City Manager, Vickie Gainer commented, “I’m excited that we are able to bring back the health fair this year.  It was well-attended before the pandemic, and we anticipate a large crowd this year.  It is also important to note that this event brings a diverse group of medical professionals and information to attendees under one roof.  We are committed to giving our residents and our community resources to help them maintain and live healthier lifestyles.”

All attendees and vendors are strongly encouraged to wear face masks throughout the duration of the event and practice social distancing.

If you are a vendor that is interested in participating in this event, please visit the city website at www.cityoflynnhaven.com and complete the Community Health Fair vendor application.

If you have any questions, please contact the Marketing & Communications team at 850-265-0530 or email communications@cityoflynnhaven.com.
