City of Panama City Beach issued the following announcement on September 24.

The City is currently recruiting for two positions on the PCB Examining Board. The board meets on the third Monday of each month at 3 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 17007 Panama City Beach Parkway. The positions open for this volunteer board are:

  • A qualified elector in the City, preferably not from the field of general construction or any profession regulated by this board.

The Examining Board consists of seven members, including a master electrician, master gas fitter, master air conditioning mechanic, master plumber, two representatives from general construction and one qualified elector not working in construction. The board members are selected by the City Council. Terms are three years.
