City of Panama Beach issued the following announcement on August 15.
The Panama City Beach City Hall, Public Services Building, Lyndell Conference Center, the Library, and Parks and Recreation department will be closed Monday, August 16 in anticipation of Tropical Storm Fred. We are expecting heavy rain, wind with possible tornadoes and high surf on Monday.
Please be safe and limit your travel as much as possible.
