City of Panama Beach: Council meetings set for August

City of Panama Beach issued the following announcement on July 29.

The Panama City Beach City Council will have several special meetings during August.

A special meeting has been set for Monday, August 9 at 4 p.m., at City Hall for the purpose of reconsidering the current provision of residential-type solid waste collection services in the City. The Council may also consider the provision of services in the unincorporated area of Bay County lying between Hathaway Bridge, Philips Inlet Bridge and West Bay Bridge.

A special meeting to replace the first regular meeting of the month, will be at 6 p.m. also on Monday, Aug. 9. There will be no meeting on Thursday, Aug. 12. The second regular meeting of the month is at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 26.

Two budget workshops are also set for August -- at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 4 and 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18.

All meetings are held at City Hall, 17007 Panama City Beach Parkway. Public comment is invited at all meetings, which are also live-streamed on the City website www.pcbflgov.com and the Facebook page “Panama City Beach-Government.”

Any person requiring a special accommodation at this meeting because of a disability or physical impairment should contact the City Clerk, at City Hall, 17007 Panama City Beach or by phone at (850) 233-5100 at least five (5) calendar days prior to the meeting.  If you are hearing or speech impaired, and you possess TDD equipment, you may contact the City Clerk using the Florida Dual Party Relay system which can be reached at (800) 955-8770 (Voice) or (800) 955-8771 (TDD).
