Bay County Appraiser issued the following announcement on Feb.3.

Retail giant Macy's Inc. is delivering details on a new retail concept it is launching in Texas this week.

Macy's (NYSE: M) is set to unveil a brand new retail concept that it is calling the Market by Macy's on Feb. 6, one day after its investor day where it will reveal its strategic plan for the next three years.

The Market by Macy's will debut in the lifestyle shopping center Southlake Town Square in Southlake, Texas, with 20,000 square feet devoted to experiential retail, alongside an in-house beauty shop and cafe.

Cincinnati-based Macy's bills its new Market store as carrying a curated selection of the best of the retailer's branded fashion, mixed with newness from specialty designers and local Texas brands. It carries apparel and merchandise for men, women and kids, as well as home goods.

Two newly introduced aspects of the Market by Macy's include Getchell's Apothecary and Herald.

Getchell's Apothecary is the Market by Macy's beauty shop named for the first female executive to work in retail, Margaret Getchell.

Herald, named for Macy's flagship New York location on Herald Square, offers a cafe serving breakfast, lunch and snacks, as well as craft cocktails, beer and wine. The dining room was designed by Dallas-based Swoon, the studio, and offers home decor merchandise.

The Market by Macy's has event spaces to accommodate programming, including cooking tutorials, book signings, crafting and fitness classes.

The new concept's unveiling comes amid anticipation for Macy's investor day on Feb. 5, when it is expected that the retailer will lay out its plans for its stable of nearly 700 stores, as well as digital initiatives.
