Dr. Neal Dunn, a U.S. Congressman representing Florida’s 2nd District, recently shared his views on various national issues through a series of tweets. Dr. Dunn, who has served in Congress since 2017 after replacing Gwen Graham and previously served in the Florida House of Representatives, used social media to express his concerns and legislative actions.
On June 11, 2025, Dr. Dunn criticized the Biden administration for choosing foreign suppliers over American companies for stockpile contracts. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a reliable domestic supply chain for critical medications as both a medical concern and a national issue. “The Biden administration repeatedly chose foreign suppliers over US companies when it came to fulfilling stockpile contracts.”
Later that day, he addressed the voting rights of illegal immigrants in Washington D.C., highlighting that 148 Democrats voted to allow such individuals to participate in local elections. Dr. Dunn expressed his pride in voting against this measure to ensure that only American citizens can vote in U.S. elections. “148 Democrats voted to allow illegal immigrants to vote in D.C. local elections.”
On June 12, 2025, Dr. Dunn announced that the House GOP is working on legislation aimed at protecting Americans from fentanyl-related substances. He expressed enthusiasm about sending this bill to President Donald Trump’s desk for approval. “The @HouseGOP is protecting Americans from the dangers of fentanyl-related substances!”
Neal Dunn was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1953 and currently resides in Panama City. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington and Lee University.
