Gulf Coast State College will hold a Spring Inter-Professional Education (IPE) event on March 24 at 8:00 a.m. All students from the Nursing, Health Sciences, and Public Safety divisions, in conjunction with the Unmanned Vehicle Systems (UVS) program, will conduct an inter-professional simulation event to strengthen inter-professional communication skills, clinical proficiency, and collaboration.  More than 500 students and over 50 faculty and staff members are expected to participate in the event. The event will simulate a building fire emergency resulting in simulated patients with smoke inhalation, respiratory distress, and burn type injuries.
