Dr. Neal Dunn, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 2nd district since 2017, has recently engaged in various public discussions and honor acceptances via Twitter. Dunn’s active participation in both legislative and commemorative events is evident through his social media presence.

On March 26, 2025, Dr. Dunn thanked the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging for honoring him with the Nuclear Medicine Legislative Champion Award. Expressing his dedication to legislative advancements, he stated, “Thank you @SNM_MI for honoring me with your Nuclear Medicine Legislative Champion Award! I am committed to advancing legislation to pave the way for progress in this crucial area of medicine!”

The following day, March 27, 2025, Dr. Dunn tweeted in honor of Sgt. Kevin Knight, who was killed in the line of duty during a traffic stop in 2005. Dr. Dunn emphasized the importance of remembering the sacrifices made by law enforcement personnel while protecting communities. He remarked, “Today, we honor the life and legacy of Sgt. Kevin Knight, who was killed in the line of duty during a traffic stop in 2005. We must never fail to recognize the courage and sacrifice of those who have given the full measure of devotion to protect our communities.”

Later that day, he discussed a recent meeting with constituents who engaged in a peaceful protest in front of Tallahassee City Hall. Acknowledging the dialogue with participants, he mentioned, “Today, my team met with several of our constituents who participated in a peaceful protest in front of Tallahassee City Hall. I am very appreciative of the respectful dialogue they had with concerned citizens. However, several elected officials who participated in the protest”

Dr. Neal Dunn, a Boston native, has persisted in pursuing legislative efforts since succeeding former Congress member Gwen Graham in 2017, drawing from his experience in the Florida House of Representatives, and education as a Washington and Lee University alumnus.
