Dr. Neal Dunn, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 2nd district since 2017, has recently highlighted several issues and initiatives through his social media posts.

On April 14, 2026, Dunn posted about recent tax policy changes: “This tax season, Floridians are seeing real relief—over $5,000 in tax cuts for the average taxpayer. The Working Families Tax Cuts also mean no tax on your hard-earned tips or overtime. Your money stays in your pocket, where it belongs. @HouseGOP is delivering for American”.

The following day, April 15, 2026, he addressed public health infrastructure concerns: “Only 9% of Americans think we’re prepared for a biological attack, and 60% of counties don’t even have access to a psychiatrist. Our public health care infrastructure needs improvement. Today, I spoke at the @HouseCommerce Health Subcommittee hearing on bills I’ve introduced to”.

On April 16, 2026, Dunn acknowledged support from military officials: “Glad to receive a @DeptofWar seal to display in my office from Assistant Secretary Hughes and my constituent, Col. Molloy! I’m grateful for the work of our outstanding DoW and will continue in supporting our military.”

Dunn’s career includes service in both the U.S. Congress and previously in the Florida House of Representatives. He was born in Boston in 1953 and currently resides in Panama City. Dunn is an alumnus of Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Science degree.
