Dr. Neal Dunn, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Florida’s 2nd district, has recently shared his views on various topics through a series of tweets. These tweets cover issues ranging from agricultural challenges to local government audits and automotive repair data access.

On March 19, 2025, Dr. Dunn highlighted a meeting with the Taylor County Farm Bureau where they discussed several issues affecting growers. Later that day, Dr. Dunn commended Bay County for its initiative in requesting a financial audit under @DOGE to provide transparency for taxpayers regarding county finances. He expressed hope that other counties would follow this example to ensure clarity on how tax dollars are utilized. “I commend @MyBayCountyFL for voluntarily requesting an audit under @DOGE of their county finances! I hope all Florida counties will follow Bay County’s example to give taxpayers a full picture of how their hard-earned tax dollars are being spent.”

On March 20, 2025, Dr. Dunn addressed concerns about automotive repair data access in an op-ed published by @realclearpolicy. He criticized car manufacturers for withholding essential repair information from consumers in an attempt to direct them towards affiliated dealerships with typically higher prices.“Your vehicle belongs to you, not the automaker. It is unacceptable for car and truck manufacturers to withhold vital repair data in an attempt to steer consumers toward their affiliated dealerships for repairs, where prices are usually higher.”
