Today, Congressman Neal Dunn from Florida’s 2nd District announced his appointment as Vice Chair of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce. In a statement, Dunn expressed gratitude for being chosen by Chairman Guthrie to serve in this capacity.
“I am honored that Chairman Guthrie has selected me to serve alongside him as Vice Chair of the Energy and Commerce Committee,” stated Congressman Dunn. He highlighted past achievements with Chairman Carter in the Health Subcommittee aimed at strengthening American healthcare. “We accomplished a great deal together, along with Chairman Carter in the Health Subcommittee, to deliver on the promises we’ve made to strengthen American healthcare,” he said.
Dunn looks forward to bringing similar successes to the full committee and emphasized collaboration with colleagues. “I am eager to bring the same success to the full Committee as Vice Chair and will continue collaborating with all my colleagues to ensure a collective, bottom-up approach to our work,” he added.
Before this appointment, Congressman Dunn served two terms on the Energy and Commerce Committee and was Vice Chair of the Health Subcommittee since the start of the current term.
